I think it should have been either #2 or a standard domino mask like Nightwing. The mask is what I don't like about the Blackbat costume.

Marcus To made that costume look good. But the overall art for Batman Inc always kind of rubbed me the wrong way. It's good art, it's just such a different combination of the silver age in all its gloriously garish look with this serious rated-R theme of gore and trippy 70s designs. It fits the book well, it's just not a tone I prefer for Batman.
And I personally prefer some kind of combo of the mask and bandana look, something like Cass's look in that Solo issue by Damion Scott where she and Tim have taken over for Batman.Last edited by godisawesome; 06-09-2012 at 02:59 PM.

I think #1 looks the best, but that costume Cass wore when she first reemerged in Red Robin was better still.
I would like to say for the record that this is the FIRST TIME I've withheld dong when someone was so desperately asking for some.

Just finished on my kindle fire issue 73 of this series. Man was this series good. Imo, much better than the batgirl stuff put out now. Why oh why DC won't you hire Puckett, Peterson and Scott back to do a relaunch of this character. Just pick up where issue 73 left off with Cass as Black Bat and watch the sales come in.
