An OK response to OK questions. But this caught my eye:
QUESTION: I loved this recent run of “Justice Society of America” and the new characters that were added. One of my favorite existing characters of that cast is Obsidian, and it seemed like there was a lot hinted and set up for the character that never saw fruition. Could you hint at what you had planned for the character? Were there a lot of character developments in general that you didn’t get the chance to do? Are you done with JSA or can you see yourself coming back to the characters after a while?
Would you do an All Star Squadron comic?
GJ: Thanks, Brent. I had plans for Obsidian, Sandman, Cyclone and Tommy (Wildcat’s kid), but all of my notes on them and story ideas will have to stay in the drawer awhile. Obviously, there were two-dozen characters on the team by the time I wrapped up my last issue. I could’ve written this book for another 100 issues. The same thing happens with most of the books I work on. Rags and I had more Hawkman stories. I have more Teen Titans stories (especially now that Superboy and Kid Flash are back). Hopefully someday I’ll get a chance to tell them.
Um, did I miss something? Was Connor's return announced?
Where have you been this week? Accidental spoilers everywhere.Um, did I miss something? Was Connor's return announced?![]()

Whats so funny about Superboy Prime? I hope he appears in Blackest Night.
He is an awesome villain. he is practically breaking the fourth wall of fiction when speaking, As he is evidently commentating on the nature of fanboys and comic books in general.
I.e, Sun boy and polar are so cool! with thier awesome powers. Then beats them!
And that lame lass line was apt.
"You can't trust them as poets either. The true poet is anonymous, as to his habits, but these boys have to look, act, and apparently smell like poets"
Flannery O'Connor on the beats.
Interesting that Johns had more Hawkman stories but he has more Teen Titans ones. Might the present tense of that point towards his return to that title?
That would simultaneously be the best and worst thing that could happen. Best as in it would fix Teen Titans and elevate it back up to its former levels. Worst because it makes DC look bad by showing how crippled they are with Johns. That would be the second book he had to return to because DC screwed it up so bad after he left.
Geoff, you just broke my heart announcing you and Gary aren't coming back to Action... Unless, it means you're both going to a new JLA or Legion.... Then all is forgiven..
'It's all fun and games until the flying monkeys attack."
Yeah, you look at the complete dismantling of most everything Geoff built in Flash and TT (to appease the OYL direction) and then you hear stories like the one Waid commented on over at Aint it Cool last week about DiDio and 52, and it isn't very hard to connect the dots that editorial mandates are the most likely culprit to all of DC's misfires the last three years.
Now with LoTW#4 out this week, nearly everything for OYL has been reversed..
'It's all fun and games until the flying monkeys attack."
I wonder if he'd ever do something vertigo-ish? lol
