I like Hitch, but being replaced by Immonen won't have a negative effect on the issue.

Stuart Immonen is awesome, so I won't complain. In fact, I might actually enjoy the issue more.

I'd be happier if the other guy left early.

    Lol! Quote of the day!

And the Thing preparing to marry another woman than Alicia. A woman he met just a few issues ago, so that Millar can leave his mark on the title. Riiiight...

What will Millar think of next? Having Reed and Sue divorce, Reed marrying a fellow scientist and Sue going undersea to live with Namor?...

    ...

...What? His FF run is over and he won't have time for that?

Thank Kirby. Here's hope Millar won't come near this title anymore.

Perhaps we should make a poll - "What was worse? Millar on the FF or Bendis on the Avengers?" With an option "Both are equally bad".

That marriage isn't going to happen. The woman and her friend are working some kind of angle on the Thing. It's going to be exposed at some point.

Yes, I realise even Joe Q wouldn't change THAT status quo.

Still, having Ben losing his mind over a woman he met basically yesterday and forgetting Alicia is enough to make my teeth grind.

Millar was simply miscast on this title. In the Ultimate Universe? Great job. In Earth-616? Not so much.

I like Immonen, but going from Hitch's art to his? Weird. Marvel could have at least picked an artist with a similar style to Hitch.

You're complaining because Stuart Immonen is drawing something? Scat!

Hey, John Byrne had Alicia and Johnny fall in love. He wasn't planning on making her a Skrull after the fact, either.

Does anyone have a similar style to Hitch?

Good point, but Ben didn't give up on Alicia, did he?
Plus, Johnny and Alicia were not considering marriage, IIRC. So their relationship wasn't "final" and there was always the possibility that Alicia comes back to Ben. The Lyja solution was a bit of a stretch though. But at least no Mephisto was involved.

A better replacement for Hitch with a similar style? Alan Davis. Though I'd have preferred Hitch as a fill-in to Davis.
By the way, isn't Hitch's style pretty much a copy of Davis', at least in the beginning?

Love immonen's work but this is an odd choice.

I agree with the person who said alan davies or mcniven would have been a more apt choice.

Alan Davis, Paul Pelletier and Trevor Hirsine all have comparitive styles. It's clear Davis was a big influence on Hitch, Hirsine and Pelletier.
