It was in Young X-Men. Don't worry about not seeing it, that just means you're in the intelligent majority.

    I appreciate Cyclops very much.

He is a good leader, not perfect but always trying and it is more interesting to me to follow the flawed but good leader than the perfect one.

His relationship with Emma is also very interesting to follow.. also not a perfect relationship but more interesting because of that. They have troubles but the love between them is very strong.

And, Wolvering said he is jealous of what Scott has.. he said it in New X-Men. That is a good clue that Cyclops is great

I liked him in the 90s when he seemed like a good well rounded disciple of Prof X. But I haven't been able to like him since he started having relations with Emma. I'm really intrigued on how it's going to play out with Dark X-men. I want to know if Emma leaves him or better yet if Jean returns and THAT's the reason Emma leaves him

I appreciate Optic Rage and Brian M. They are good Cyclops fans, and also good people. Also, they do not seem crazy.

Cyclops is also a kick-ass hand-to-hand combatant. How many times has he had fisticuffs with Wolverine and come up sparkly? Wolverine has never convincingly beaten Cyke in a fist fight, as far as i recall.

I recall reading somewhere that Scott was second to Captain America in hand-to-hand and leadership.
