Yeah I don't like it either. Cyclops' classic visor look is just so...iconic. You don't change it.

I am interested to see how exactly the Phoenix fucked up his powers. Maybe the new helmet/mask helps him better contain his stronger powerset....?

Looks much better drawn by Bachalo. I somewhat like it even if it is forgoing his traditional and recognizable visor.

Wonder who his other teammates are aside from Magneto, Magik, and possibly Emma.

Power Adjustment Speculation:

- Less Control. More Power: A reason for that noticeable visor

- Control over his optic blasts: Much like Darkseid's Omega Beams

- A Decrease: A possibility but I doubt it.

- Telepathy/Telekinesis: I'm throwing this in here because the hand gesture UX#1 cover. Like he's using the force
