    Default Cyclops Appreciation

This is long overdue. Here we appreciate the X-Men's fearless leader. My favorite Cyclops moment was in Whedon's Astonishing when he broke free of the Breakworld torture and said, "To me, my X-Men"

I enjoyed X-Men #44 when Cyke had to lead the Acolytes throught the Outback. They left having a new respect for Cyclops leadership.

I don't like this current Cylops.

I'm not enjoying the current Emma as well so that's not saying much.

By the way...I want to ask this question. I'm curious. Is Cyclops fixation with 'Hope' simply attributed to the fact that she is/could be the saviour of the mutant race. Or the fact that she might be a vessel for the resurection/return of his dead wife Jean?

I think it is because he believes Hope is the savior of the mutant race, in the words of his son Cable. It probably has nothing to do with possible Jean resurrection.
