    Default Rebels 3

    Where do I start ?
    Where is the love ?

I love Dox, ruthless, super intelligent & a plan. What more can you say ?
I love Tribulus, always loved Validus, very cool looking charecter
I love Wildstar, best new charecter in comics, combo of Dawnstar and Wildfire. Just awesome
I love the direction of the story so far, cant wait to see where Tony is going.

Question, what happened to Strata and Broot ?
Strata looks like Blok, I always thought she looked different, and why does Broot look like Strata, he used to look very different

    Downside ( slight )
    Not feeling Bounder yet
Not looking forward to a guest artist on 3,4,5 and maybe 6
The book might be a bit busy with Omega men and our lead, Rebels.

So far, love this book, with Rebels, GLC, GL and Blackest Night , DCs Cosmic corner might be better than Marvel's ( I said might be )

    Great job Tony

We're taking a little artistic license with some of the characters and alien races, so Strata has a bit more multifaceted look, and Broot's changed a little as well.

And considering how strong Andy Clarke's art is, I don't blame you for feeling unsure about a fill-in, but we're going to post some preview pages of Claude St' Aubin's work pretty soon that will set your mind at ease. It's the best stuff he's ever done, hews quite closely to what Andy does, and Andy likes it quite a bit.

Meanwhile, Andy is hard at work on issue 7 and remains our lead artist, so don't worry that you won't see his tremendous work again!

Rokk picked REBELS 3 as the book he is most looking forward to read this week:

I, sadly, am out of town and will have to wait until next week to read it. The preview looked good though. That Dox...

I AM FULL OF SPOILERS!! READAT YOUR OWN RISK!

this was great!! Even though I loved Silica's circa 50's cute look, I like her dreadlocks too!

i hope she's not dead forever! The black hole in her chest was so cool!!

THANK YOU for having someone react properly to be given an amazing new body! I'm always so sad when someone gets a cool new power or something and just whines about it tragically.

I love how you're writing everyone! Bounder's appropriately friendly and not really trying to fight! I really like the Omega Men's idea to just go try themselves, I love it when characters behave so sensibly! Ahh, I want to see that baby Strata mentioned! Really great work, I hope more people buy this!

I think Bounder may be the greatest new character in comics (but then I also think Speedball and Go Go Tomago are awesome so it may be a 'ball' thing).

I'm not au fait with L.E.G.I.O.N, LoSH or R.E.B.E.L.S lore, or many of the links but I do know that since #1 REBELS has been a fantastic read.

Currently it's my only DCU title and my anticipation levels for it are going up and up each month.

    keep up the good work.

I think the baby appeared in LEGION's Annual Armageddon 2001 crossover (which of course was an alternate future) although it may have been in the original REBELS. But it was super cute.

As for REBELS 3, keep it coming Tony. And I like Andy's Strata and the 5 fingered villains. And is that a Czarnian on the last page? Don't say, but that would be food for thought. Way to integrate so much cosmic DC! Tony you may have a lot to live up to (Negation is still a favorite that I read over and over) but you've made a good start.

Really surprised that I like the way you combined Dawnstar and Wildfire.

I'm enjoying how this series has started out.

    Tip.

Get a green lantern on a cover soon.

    Green lantern=extra readers!

Get a tie in to blackest night of some sort.

I love REBELS and want it to last.

I agree with the General. I know its a ploy (of sorts) to tie in to Blackest Night and GL, but if its done right it doesn't matter where the idea came from. And once someone picks REBELS up, they'll be sucked in.

And it makes sense that Blackest Night isn't just an Earth-thing so REBELS is the obvious comic to tie into.

We ARE planning to tie in with Blackest Night in November, and it's a story that will further enrich the REBELS corner of space! Stay tuned...

I absolutely LOVE REBELS... im enjoying it immensely!!!

and im so glad that it will tie in with Blackest Night and the GL corps (I guess this should be addressed, especially since the new "Law" is in effect... and that The Vega system is under the GLC jurisdiction!!)

I have followed Legion of Superheroes (the Threeboot) and with Legion of 3 Worlds its getting really confusing...

Is this going to be addressed too???

How can the REBELS be ancestors of characters in the Threeboot legion (because as per LO3W the Threeboot is from an alternate earth!!) ???

    Confused reader here

but please don't tie in too much with Blackest Night or Legion.

I have not read Green Lantern or the LOSH in years and have no interest in them at all. R.E.B.E.L.S is the only DC title I read, as I was driven away by the constant crossovers, references to titles I have no interest in and sudden cuts from one storyline just so a mega crossover can be addressed.

What I have loved about R.E.B.E.L.S so far includes the subtlety that tenuous links have been handled so far. Please don't let it get a millstone round it;s ankle.

I keep on seeing references to Braniac 5 and Legion of Three worlds on the message boards, with people wondering which one it is. as far as I'm concerned, knowing it is A Braniac 5 is good enough for me.
