I wonder if a new creative team will be on the new #1? Or is it going to be relaunched like how they're going to do Ghost Rider with Aaron writing a new #1.

That #1 is for a six issue mini-series. Once that's done, Aaron's gone.

It seems a little cancel-y to me, but who knows? We might get another GHOST RIDER #1 and an ongoing series with a new creative team once Aaron's run is over.

I kind of figured Marvel was going to do this with IIF. It seems like they wanted to get a push behind Duane S's work on the title, and this seems like a good way to do this, particularly if there's more strong creators like Aaron involved with the one-shots. DC tried something like this with the Legion Worlds one-shots that bridged DnA's Legion Lost and their ongoing Legion series, and those one-shots were what originally got me interested in the Legion. (Very interesting artistic choices.)

Fat Cobra does look good, and i'm sure as hell Aaron can write any character, but I definatly hope he doesn't stay on the book...

I don't think this means anything in terms of cancellation. Maybe a new #1 but I doubt it.

How do you know it wont be 4.99? Last I checked minis are 3.99 and one shots could be the sky the limits. Still its lame that Iron Fist is getting replaced by the other weapons. I mean they are cool, but it would be great if this titled focused more on danny. I cant see these one shots selling better than the iron fist title. i just dont get it.

It's a series of one-shots WITH a 5-part Danny back-up story in each issue that's tied into current continuity.
