    i really, really like Waid and many of his books, but i was surprised to hear him so high on Birthright, i was only able to stick that series out for the Yu art. Maybe i should give it a re-read.

    I think Mark Waid is one of those rare writers who actually understands comics and genuinely loves our genre tropes, instead of trying to turn comics into movies or TV series.

    While I admit to a great deal of disappointment in his Legion, I still believe in him overall and I'd love to see him do more work for the Big Two again.

    I'd buy a Waid/Nauck Aquaman.
