Well this was a waste. Obviously Pixie is going to be back and obviously she isn't stuck in limbo. No info here, and the April Fools crap was just stupid.

I hate to agree but I must.
I lit up when I saw that there was a new X-Position and that it featured C.B.Cebulski....but did I find myself satisified? no.
Was there any NEW art to view? Definitely not.
Were there any teasers? Certainly not.
We know Pixie is fine and that she will come back, big whoop.

    Sigh.

Now now, there was new art! New coloring on the Kubert cover to show that Dani is indeed wearing a headband instead of a monster-scowl, that is!

But yeah, no terribly shocking revelations.

    We have some news.....

    No we don't... APRIL FOOLS!!!

    Really?

You make the ComicMix April Fools posts look like an essay by George Carlin.

That's like the humor in faking throwing a stick to your dog.

I think pixie should become one with the other part of her soul by sticking herself with the short soul sword into her chest.

    One word.... weak.
The Large Hadron Collider on the France-Switzerland border inadvertently will crush the Earth out of existence (unlikely, but at least humanity's final thought would be, "Blame the French")

That New Mutants art has got me more psyched than ever for a comic book series. Warlock, Cypher and Legion! Add Birdbrain and I am in nirvana.

As for Cypher, Doug Ramsey never got a fair shot. There has to be a creative way for him to use his power proactively- talking to machines, or have him speak a language that effects the physical world like in "Dune".

Now Marvel has to bring back Alpha Flight and West Coast Avengers!

That would ruin the character for me. I always hate it when writers come up with weird uses of established powers that makes characters uber-powerful.

You don't have to be powerful to be an interesting character--in fact, limitations are often exactly what makes a character interesting in the first place. In Doug's case, that was his desire to prove himself useful in combat while feeling--and mostly being--helpless.

That said, put him in an Oracle-like position behind a communicator, and he could be great!

Well.....regardless upon the "joke" aside.....It was still an interesting article on the X-INFERNUS Miniseries.....

PS..... And hopefully, CBC's wishes for having the Loners have another Mini is one some of us are looking forward to....(especially after their brief appearances within the WAR OF KINGS: DARKHAWK Mini......
