I quite like the covers and I'm glad they haven't tried to make them look like covers from 70 years ago but instead made them look kind of timeless looking...ok maybe timeless isn't accurate but they look good.

Anyway I'm really just posting to ask who is the creative team for the Sub-mariner comic? Since as far as my feeble mind can reason the names on the cover are different from the solicit. In fact it appears the creative team is the same for the Sub-mariner and Captain America comics....if you go by the cover that is...

They look like they could be a fun read. Too bad I refuse to buy any Marvel books that sport the 4 buck price tag on it.

at least these are oversized, although the extra is a reprint. but it is a golden age reprint...

I like what he did stylistically.

He basically took his art and overlayed it on top of Illustrator backrounds and probably took the coloring out of his art or at least intentionally colored it grey.

I missed that part thanks. That's what I get for skimming these articles on the sly while at work. I love Golden Age reprints as I am too poor to ever read the originals. I'll check 'em out when they are on the stands and see if its worth it. I am not totally adverse to four dollar bucks, I just want something extra for that extra dollar.
