I am all over this. Van Lente's Marvel Zombies 3 was the best of the bunch, by far. I'm super excited to see Kev Walker will be back, too.
The kind of book you fantasize about happening, but know deep down it never will.
But then it does.
Hope it spins into an ongoing.
Are the midnight sons immune to the zombie virus now? It doesnt strike me as sensible to fight zombies otherwise!
Marvel Zombies 3 was amazing so i'm going to give this a try. Does anyone else think its going to have a Raiders or the Lost Ark ending to this?
I haven' t really enjoyed any of the Marvel Zombie projects thus far (even with the Sean Phillips art), but then I see Damon Hellstrom as the picture for the article-- now I want this bad.
Marvel Zombies is a fun concept on it's own... but adding Hellstrom and the Midnight Sons makes this a must have for me.
Still, it's weird how they mention that Hellstrom isn't registered, yet he's transfered from Nighhawks Defenders team. I didn't think they were even technically a government team where it's members could be transferred. I'll be curious to see how that works.
on his last warning
i really enjoyed volume 3 mroeso than the others, so hearing him takin another crack at it, makes me definitely wanna pick it up, i hope ghost rider at least makes a cameo though, he was the posterboy for the midnight sons..
Course, the funny thing was that the Danny version of Ghost Rider didn't actually become a Midnight Son since he sort of died during the event, and was replaced by Vengeance.

Though Blaze did (even though he wasn't Ghost Rider at the time), so it would be cool if he showed up.
I though Marvel Zombies 3 was good idea/bad execution.
This looks about the same.
The "Last" Defenders weren't part of the Initiative at all - so, no, I don't see how he could be "transferred"

I'm thinking that the Man-Thing will come in when we all least expect it. Like at the last mintue when all is lost.
Plus I was hoping for more explaing Hellstorm's involvement on the team since his last apperance in the Last Defenders mini-series....I mean didn't he join up with the team and didn't Kyle say that they were away from the Initiative at the end of the mini ?
Sleep Walker Cosmic Pimp
really cool that they are recognizing the hellstorm series characterization here.
Hi, my name is Peter Parker and I make satanic pacts with demons. .I shall not buy Amazing Spider-Man until the marriage returns. Be a part of the movement.
Yeah, I don't mind Hellstrom joining the Midnight Sons because he wants to help out, or is bored or whatever.

Van Lente said. “Plus, the Hood doesn't just bring any group of villains with him on this jaunt. He brings a very horror-oriented group of villains with him. People know I love to dip as far back as I can into obscure Marvel-ania and a team I always enjoyed and never felt got their time was the Night Shift. So they're working for the Hood now.”
Who's the Night Shift. When he said horror-oriented group of villians, I was thinking of Blackout, Scarecrow(athough he was Cap's foe too) and Deathwatch from Danny Ketch Ghost Rider rogues and maybe Vermin. I would love it if Fred use them, I been happy that my favorite peusdo vampire is back in the pages of New Avengers and currently in Ghost Rider working for Zadkiel. I also love Deathwatch and the return of his Death Spawns. ahahahaa.
If I recall correctly, a group of villains from West Coast Avengers where Satannish had stolen their "half-souls". Dr Strange fixed them, and they moved on - the only member I remember was Gypsy Moth, who went onto be Skein in Thunderbolts.
