I'm so loving this series right now.![]()
I mean that interview teases so many things happening within just a two-parter has me shouting joy within my heart.![]()
Scavenger,
The NY Time recently starred a best selling graphic novels list. And Love & War, the most recent collected volume of iHerc appeared at #8 on their hardcover list:

Obviously, Greg Pak and Salva Espin's names should be listed there also. (Shakes fist at NYT!!)
I said it before and this interview seriously makes me think I'm right...
1: Remind people Hercules was put on earth to kill Godly Monsters? Check!
2: Remind them he was returned to Earth by Zeus for no clear reason? Check!
3: Bring back a Greek Monster with power to kill the Gods? Typhon, check!!!
4: Create fate/destiny fight? Typhon/Hera, Herc may fall one day, check!!!!
I got a wierd feeling this is all going to lead to Hercules death. I mean think about it. Once the last monster is slane what is Hercules life??? Sure he can just relax, drink beer and tag women. But greek myth would never let it happen that way. An I dont think GP and FvL would either.
Maybe Im reading to deep, but think about it. I could see Herc dying as the turning point that makes Cho a "hero" for sure (an his re-rebirth of course). Cho crying over his body, finally getting "IT" via what it means to be a hero. Since he's suppost to be on the fence according to Athena.
I think you're onto something, but I don't think it'll go down that way. In the end, this is a Herc-Cho buddy book. After reading the Herc secret origins issue, I'm convinced that things will lead up to a point where Herc is about to die if left to his own devices, but Athena insists on leaving him behind and continuing with their mission as long as she still has Cho to implement whatever strategy she has planned. To her, Herc is an acceptable loss. But Cho realizes Athena's coldness and has a crisis of conscience, ultimately defying Athena and going back to save Herc.
Naruto is curently spamming the manga market with 12 volumes or so because they must of gotten tired of hearing we are sooooo far behind Japan from the readers. as popular as Naruto is it doesn't come out very fast because it gets put in shonen jump monthly first here in the US. Personaly I could wait several years reading 3 chapters a month like i had wanted to do for Yugioh anyway.
placing bets right now:
DA vs herc
will boil down to Herc vs Sentry and Ares.
Long shot: Either Ares or sentry change sides
Cyclops ad portas
Yeah but I really don't want to see Athena turn out like that, it would be nice to see Herc have atleast one godly sibling that genuinely cares about him and not just seeking to break him down or use him.But Cho realizes Athena's coldness and has a crisis of conscience, ultimately defying Athena and going back to save Herc.
Very interested in seeing them build on the Athena-Cho relationship in general though, that holds alot of intrigue for me.
I'm beginning to think that Hell is a comic book forum.

I kinda agree. Personally I see Hercules runing through that entire roster short of Ares and Sentry (though Ares is more of a bothering bug since Herc just chucks him miles away).
However they book discription say its Herc vs. DA vs. Olympus Group. An Van said how will Ares react to his mom. Will he fall in line and turn on the DA or will he oppose her. Great amount of small plots that make this so exciting to see how it goes down. So its more like
Hercules, Athena, Cho and possibly Aegis vs. DA and the Olympian Gods. How fun does that sound!!!
