    Default Erotic Vampire comic

Hi, my father had a grocery store when I was young and I read most of the comics including this one.... Unfortunately I never remembered the name and I have been doing some research on the internet to find out what exactly it is.

It's not Zora, Druuna or Jacula. It's definitely European, I read it in french, but it could have been translated. The heroine is a black haired vampire and she seduces evil doers to rob them of their money and thwart their evil plans with the use of sex ( genitalia is quite visible male and female) it's more on the pornographic side than on the erotic. She also has a gay footman who helps her out on her missions, takes care of her when she is "sleeping" and also seduces the gay evil men when she can't or heterosexual women!!! It's not a big format about 6"x6" the drawings are high contrast black and white.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for the try, I'm talking about a comic... not a novel... maybe I should specify I was reading this comic in 1983-85 so it's an oldie.

Sorry, I should have read through the wiki link and wish I had time to right now.

It is a comic book also. The one I had was an 81/2 by11adult GN (black cover), but I'm sure it could've come in other formats.

The reason that I suggest it is that the stories sound similar. Crepax sounds familiar too. It must've been an adaptation.

The other reason it sounds like it is that, I think I bought it because it was supposed to have been written by Anne Rice using a psuedonym (I'm totally going on my feeble memory here.). Since Anne Rice used to write some erotica using a psuedonym.

Starting at $77 used, ouch. *slaps self on the forehead*

I'll look a little harder for it later though k?

Bud's DVD's seem to have them (but you'd want to see them before buying.)

Well, it sounds to me like the Fumetti comic "Sukia". Does this cover or title logo ring any bells...

Sukia was an Italian comic but it was translated into French and published in Belgium I believe. I don't know if you're aware of this but these type of Italian porno comics are actually referred to as "Fumetti". The word Fumetti actually means comics with photographs rather than drawings but for some reason, this genre of European erotic comic also goes by the name of Fumetti.

Edit: Here's a Wikipedia link for Sukia...

...and here's a Fumetti themed blog site...

It's even better without the "censored bar" that I had to insert in order to make it CBR friendly!

Somehow I don't think many of those will be found in boxes at the local garage sale (nor would they be sold for twenty bucks)... Batman #3 maybe, but those... I doubt it. ;)

To those who don't frequent the classic comics forum disregard the above. :)

LOL...no, you're quite right. This thread reminds me of the time that myself and a couple of mates stumbled upon a discarded issue of Sukia on a beach in France when we were about 12 years old. Obviously much excitment ensued...and a big fight to determine which one of us would get to take the book home. It was all written in French (unsurprisingly) and we couldn't read the story at all but we could sure see what was going on in the pictures!
