He gives a good interview. That's for sure.

What he's been doing with Uncanny is improving as well. Waiting to see the payoff.

The casual "teamless" aspect of the book is one of the best parts.

Hoping to see more of secondary characters in addition to Scott, Emma, Beast, and Logan though.

Can't wait for Uncanny X-Men #512. An all X-Club issue. Yay for the Fringe Science Team.

CBR: "What sort of feedback are you getting? Are you finding the “X-Men” have an emotional and devoted group of fans?"

Matt Fraction: "I don’t know. I avoid it from the Internet. I don’t go looking on the Internet. That way lays madness. So I don’t know how it’s been responded to."
The man is very wise. I'll give him that.

I liked how Matt Fraction said that he wrote the scene of Emma in Scott's mind with the women, for Dodson and not Land

He should go sell unreadable books like Ghost Rider and give the X-men to someone who at least knows how to write a teambook. Quesada should go apologize to Morrison. He'd boost the ratings and X-Men would be the core of the marvel universe again. I even heard that Jean's death was Quesada induced.

Edit: Wow! Two misspellings of one name?! That's got to be some kind of a record! Thanks for adressing my mistake, Stephen Moreno! This is embarrassing.

he should pick up a freaking comic and actually read the thing instead of 'aggressively browsing.'

    i just don't understand.

no wonder he confuses characters with each other.

"Where is Genosha? Point it on a map to me?"

LOL! it's nice to know i haven't been ridiculing this book without merit now.

We're never gonna agree on this are we? I liked his interview and his point about Genosha was that you can't separate yourself like they did.

He says that was the point in the article...

Isn’t it a little defeating to have these guys in Genosha? Is that what mutantkind wanted, just to be separated from the rest of humanity?

Genosha, too, was that weird, like, “Planet of the Apes” riff with the slave race or whatever, and it’s such an abstract anyway—. Where WAS Genosha? Point to me on a map where it was. I’ll show you a map of the world, I challenge anyone to find—.

But you know what the idea was. The idea was to separate them. This was their own world, their own island.

Okay, that didn’t work. Strict isolation doesn’t work. You need them close to real people. I’m sorry, close to humans. I didn’t mean to offend any mutants, there.

At the end of the day, they are humans?

Yeah, right, exactly. And you need them close enough—. You can’t have them just off in a pocket. It’s not a metaphor that works in the abstract. They need proximity to the rest of the world.
