Wow..I swear, that costume keeps getting crappier every time I see it, like an optical illusion of degrading fashion/quality.

Don't get me wrong though, the statue is very well made, if I felt like I could look at Electro without chuckling or outright laughing, I would buy it.

I never understand all this negativity about Electro's costume.I agree that in real life,it looks ridiculous but in comics,Electro's costume is cool.I mean Green Goblin is one of the great Spidey foes ever but his costume would be silly in real life.Yet,in comics is quite cool.

Agreed. I don't know what Mark Bagley was on when he drew Ultimate Electro as being a bald guy in a boring black bodysuit, but the lack of fancy costumes was one of the things that turned me off the Ultimate Universe.

Electro without the star mask is no Electro at all. Just like the Scarecrow of the Batman Begins film franchise hardly counts as a good Scarecrow-sure, he has the burlap sack fright mask, but where are the straw hat, the ragged patchwork clothing, the hangman's noose around his neck and the pitchfork or scythe he should be wielding?

That was the one thing that disappointed me about Heath Ledger's Joker-he should have had razor sharp playing cards, electrified joy buzzers, acid-squirting flowers in his lapel, extended boxing gloves, exploding gag cigars, razor-sharp writing quills that can pierce a man's throat, and the other gag weapons that are so important to the Joker's character.
