She was clearly diverting police attention away from The Hamburgler, who robbed the other five McDonald's in Fort Pierce as the police were dealing with Ms. Goodman.
"Well, if you're out of McNuggets, could I have a Whopper instead?"
Hell I'd have called the National Guard. Where's My Burger Dammit!!
Chuck Norris could have gotten the damn nuggets if he wanted them.
You know what I think she was right She didn't reply with force or threats she decided to let someone else handle it. Someone who wasn't so close to the situation. And the manager is a dick for not giving her her refund as soon as she asked for it. The women wanted chicken mcnuggets and she paid for them and then they tell her they don't have them and she has to get something else and no she can't have her money back. Bull shit.
The headline is a bit misleading. The woman actually has a valid complaint, even if calling the police was an overreaction. They should have just given her her money back.
How about she recieves ten Gibbs slaps a day ?

For the record, I agree with brighteyes and BnL. The woman did have a valid complaint, but she handled it the wrong way. The McDonald's should have given her the money back and the whole thing never would have happened.
The entire situation is fucked up.

McDonald's has officially apologized to the woman. There was a follow-up on tonight's news that gave the statement.
I find her reaction a bit extreme to call 911 THREE times. I also think the manager was wrong in not just refunding the money. Hell, I'd have taken it out of my own pocket just to get her out of there if she started calling the cops on me.
Wonder what would have happened if she HAD "jumped across the counter" like she said?
I worked at McDonald's when I was 18. If she HAD jumped across the counter, she would have gotten into a hair pulling match with a female employee until the cops were ultimately called on her and she was taken to jail. At least that's how every "customer jumps the counter" situation I ever witnessed went down.
