So, just guessing but Logan might finally be ditching the mask, eh?
He's always looked much cooler to me without it (which is probably why Ultimate Wolverine was designed without one).
I'm beginning to think that Hell is a comic book forum.

I like Maverick, but I wish he still had his powers.![]()
I can barely stand depowered mutants, and I almost don't want to buy this book each month because of it. But I did add this title to my comic shop pull file because it has good writing and art, so i will at least get issue #1.
I don't understand what makes this book from Wolverine and Wolverine Origins.
After Old Man Logan wraps up, Wolverine is changing its title to Dark Wolverine, and will star Daken. Obvious difference.
Wolverine Origins will tie in with Marvel's larger-scale happenings (i.e. Dark Reign), and will continue to mine Logan's past.
Wolverine: Weapon X was more or less designed to be the self-contained ongoing that the regular Wolverine book used to be, before it started switching writers and artists every arc and basically just became a collection of miniseries.
Regardless of what you think about Wolverine, these titles DO each have different feels and mission statements.

I'm burning with the antecipation! This book can arrive soon enough!
debating starting up with this series
is it going to be a self contained series or constantly jumping to others
I'm sick of the new $3.99 books. I dropped Dark and New Avengers because of it....I might buy it in trades if it gets good reviews
From what I understand, its gonna be a bit more self-contained then constantly jumping on to other plotlines/characters/etc.
I'm definitely excited for this book. While I was a little disappointed in Manifest Destiny Wolverine because of the rushed feel, I greatly enjoyed all of "Get Mystique". As long as Jason Aaron is writing Wolverine, we're in good hands.
I'll pass.....and I really would like a nice on-going Wolverine title. But $3.99...is just too much for a comic.
