Tony,

I just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to talk with me Sunday at the MegaCon. Your advice and personal experiences were a great encouragement to me! Just in case you're not sure who I am, I'm the guy with glasses who had his wife and daughter with him... I'm working for a little company in Tampa right now... I showed you some of my work.

Anyways... I went out after our talk and spoke with some of the other smaller publishers, I unfortunately couldn't speak with Mark Waid, I think he already had left for the day... I ended up with two other jobs with smaller companies... but I remain encouraged, we all have to start someplace right?

Mark, that's awesome. Those jobs with smaller companies have a way of snowballing. Reading your post really made my day. Keep us posted.

And I had a blast at MegaCon. Really great show -- lost of people with big stacks to sign, which tells me they really love their comics.
