I'm gonna get that "Unwritten" as a tryout series and "Greek Street". See how good they are.

The Ian Rankin one will either be very intriguing, or just bland Constantine fan-fic.

The plan following the imprint launch is to have 6 or 7 more books out by next year, with hardcover editions coming first, followed by softcover.
This is excellent news. Hardcovers usually add $5-10 to the price of a comic, and these days many people might prefer to wait and save the money. Moreover, there's something a little precious and pretentious about hardcover comics in general, so it's nice to know there'll be a softcover alternative.

I've seen you say this several times, but never with an explanation why? What's pretentious about wanting to purchase a format that will last longer? Are hardcover novels and non-fiction also pretentious? Or are comics, to you, base and unworthy of hardcover treatment? It really is very baffling.

Vertigo is making a very smart move by selling these for $1. I've pretty much stopped buying new comics, but this is a move liable to make me interested again. If I find one that's particularly good, I might also pick up a copy for friends.

I read his crime books. They are very bleak, strong character wise.

It can fit well in with Constantine. He can only fail if he doesnt adapt to comics.

I will get both crime GNs. Mostly cause its vertigo crime those have a good record with me plus reading a GNs is as rare as reading a good stand alone novel.
