nine-picture deal, by which the actor will appear as Nick Fury in "Iron Man 2,"
"Thor," "Captain America," "The Avengers" and any sequels those films generate.

You are basing it on them having him in it as little as they did with the first Iron Man.

This is totally awesome Sam is one of my favorite actors hand's down and he is a passionate fan of comics so this is a completely win-win-win situation.

I'm sure it is a large pay check. Nine movies sheesh thats like signing a professional sports player to a 18 year contract, plus depending on the contract I wonder if he gets likeness rights for figures or other merchandise with his picture on it.

Well if he does as well portraying Nick Fury as he did Mace Windu...
we will see MORE sam Jackson and LESS nick Fury.
They got the guy that did the WORST portrayal of a jedi EVER, to play NICK FURY so he can make Nick Fury look like... SAM JACKSON.
Sam Jackson does not play roles. He plays SAM JACKSON.
Mace Windu was SAM JACKSON as a Jedi. Not a Jedi played by Sam Jackson.
Nick Fury will wind up being SAM JACKSON as a SHIELD director, not NICK FURY played by sam jackson.
This guy is like Bruce WIllis with LESS talent.
I will still like the movies I am sure, but I will have to treat Sam Jackson Director of Shield like JAR JAR BINKS... just pretend he is not there.
