Default Mike Mignola (almost) non-Hellboy Check-list (vol. 3)

Well - when you have ALL the Hellboy comics itīs time to collect ALL the other comics penciled by Mike Mignola. So here it is (just print it out and take it to your local comicshop) :

    Mike Mignola (almost) non-Hellboy Check-list

(Note : The Mignola-list features titles of the "short-stories" and year of publication - the first edition, not the reprint/TPB. The list is done alphabetically and does not include issues, where Mignola only did the inks, the cover, a pin-up or the writing. If there are no pages listed, Mignola did the entire book.)

The list is partly based on the "Mignola Comixography" by Miguel Angel Alvarez and up-dated with info from Brian T. Riverīs "Mike Mignola Comic Art Catalog" from CBA # 23.
For helping with this list I would like to thank Nick Warmack, JNapper (from Hellboy.com), Christine Mignola and Mal Earl.

Are these three entries comic pages or just illustrations, I'm not sure I understand:
    - Nickelodeon Magazine "The 2005 Kidīs Choice Award" Special - 1 page "Why did the Chicken Cross the Road?"
    - Tabloia # 576 (2005) - 1 page "Gungdoom!"
    - Wizard # 75 (1997) - 4 pages "Basic Training : How to Build a Better Graveyard" (Hellboy)

I think the first part of the list would be more helpful if you named if he wrote, penciled, or did all the artwork for it so we can kind of pick and choose what we would want to collect.

Answer: all three are like (magazine-only) comic pages. Like Mignola Strip Art. The Wizard #75 one features Hellboy.
It's sweet stuff, of which I as yet only managed to purchase Wiz #75.
Been called a 'good egg'. Been told to rock, been told to steady myself. Been told to (please) be goin' places.
Chillingly good stuff besides Mignola, Slint, M, Knut and really big chunks of tinfoil?
Half sunk in the mud, with one eye showing / a cracked smile and hair still growing /
your hands miles apart, as if they'd never met / you were the happiest I'd seen you yet

I noticed this is volume 3, is there any chance of bumping volume 1 and 2?

I just found out a few weeks ago Mignola wrote The Doom That Came to Gotham. Just got them in the mail, I'm looking forward to reading it.

You should make an alternate list of everything Mignola that was on the Comic Book Artist magazine (Mike Mignola issue) and update it with everything that came out after that (; (here's to wishful thinking)
