Im assuming Siege will be the final story of Dark Reign. Since thats the case, has what happened with Moonstone in Ms. Marvel been addressed anywhere? I know the timeline for that series was out of whack bc of her death and resurrection but Carol took back the name ,and nearly killed Moonstone. It looked like Moonstone was going to stop parading around as Ms. Marvel and try to redeem herself. BUT here in Siege she's right alongside the Dark Avengers as if nothing happened. Has any of what happened to her been touched anywhere? Like did they show her at least telling Norman she was done and him forcing her to stay on? Or did Marvel just ignore the developments that occurred with her character?

What's up with Penance? In his mini he'd decided to put the blame for Stamford on Nitro, but in the Initiative he's back in the suit and blaming himself again, is the mini pretty much being ignored?

    Default Toro

I just finished reading the AVENGERS /INVADERS HC by Ross and Krueger. I liked it,and didn't figure anything would be relevant as per usual time travel stories.

BUT, I do have a question related to TORO.

    1) How did he originally die?
    2) Since he's brought back in the modern day via Bucky's use of the Cosmic Cube, has he been seen outside this mini?

    Thanks!

    Stark dissassembled:

    Let me get this straight....

Skrulls uploaded a virus to Tony Stark which shut down all Stark tech. It also shut down Stark's extremis powers.

Stark begins to delete his mind to protect the Registration files from Osborn. His body however is still modified by extremis. His entire mind is deleted and his body cannot function however his mind is backed up before he was exposed to extremis. Therefore, if he uploaded this backup to his current mind (possible through extremis) he would have the memories of pre-extremis (and therefore pre civil war, pre secret invasion.

However, people are claiming that this will therefore result in a Stark without extremis powers. His body is still modified by extremis (as evidenced that he can treat his brain like a harddrive) therefore shouldn't his extremis powers remain?

In the simplest of terms, whats the main difference between the New Avengers (Luke Cage? CA?), the Mighty Avengers (Iron Man?) and the Young Avengers (Vision?)?

I know it started with the evil Iron Man and the Civil War stories, but where is the story now?

Also, what is up with Vision? HELP!
    Post Civil War:

New Avengers: This is the renegade unregistered team of Avengers comprised of Luke Cage, Spider-Woman, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Ronin, Iron Fist, Echo, and Dr. Strange. Their base of operations is moved to Dr. Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum until a little before Secret Invasion where they move around to other "bases".

Mighty Avengers: The main task force of Avengers as organized by Tony Stark and the 50 State Initiative. The team is comprised of Iron Man, Ms. Marvel, Black Widow, Ares, Wasp, Wonder Man and the Sentry. Their main base of operations is the Avengers Tower until a major shift that happens after Secret Invasion.

Young Avengers: In a similar situation to the New Avengers except Stature registers and becomes part of the Initiative.

Vision is Iron Lad (read Young Avengers to know more) with a bit of the original Vision thrown in.

It's usually found on the pages at the begining of the book. I am sure you know already but it's the info in the really small print. Good luck.

Usually I read the comics but if I'm really interested in a collection I'll buy that too. Chronological reading orders are something I tend to do on the side after reading all the books just for fun although sometimes doing this can be incredibly complicated if books don't have a common reference point.

Would Blake become trapped in the other plane of existence? Would Mjolnir's new owner become bonded with Blake?

And would the answer apply if the scenario involved Blake's walking stick being separated from him?
To your first question, just going by the JMS run so far it seems that Donald Blake would need Thor to use the hammer to bring him back out of limbo and vice versa. As for Mjolnir's new owner becoming bonded with Blake, that's an interesting question. Personally I think it would only work with Thor since he and Blake are pretty much one in the same and are bonded together.

If say Cap picked up the hammer and tapped it on the ground I don't think he would switch out and it would return Blake back with the stick in tow but it's certainly a possibility.

I've been half-following Thor, and I thought Asgard had moved to Latveria, but now The Siege is hinging on its still being in Oklahoma... So what gives? Is Asgard in Latveria or is it in Oklahoma? Did Loki and Baldur just get the Asgardian people to move and leave the Asgard city abandoned back in OK?

    I'm confused...
The Thor book was a little behind the rest of the Avengers books leading into Siege since Kieron Gillen was still resolving the Doom/Loki pact that JMS had introduced in his run. But as of the latest Thor issue (Thor #606) the book should be caught up and lead into the Siege mini series itself.

Hard to say, I would either look up a price guide such as Comic Buyers Guide or call a comic shop to see what they offer for it. If not there's always ebay but obviously that'll then be your call as to what you think the price should go for.

I don't read Ms. Marvel anymore but Dark Avengers hasn't referenced what happened in Ms. Marvel to any degree that I've noticed. But it does seem like Moonstone's tenure as a Dark Avenger will end after Siege.

The mini isn't being ignored but Moonstone (and Norman) contributed to Robbie going back into his drugged & scarred state of mind. This can be found in the Andy Diggle written issues of Thunderbolts, specifically Thunderbolts #126, and in the Avengers: The Initiative book.

In May Moonstone will be a Thunderbolt. Lead by Luke Cage, the Thunderbols will consist of Moonstone, Ghost, Juggernaut, Crossbones and Man-Thing.

    so differences are:
    steve's ears are visible.
steve has no stars at the shoulder-arm joint.
bucky's costume style at the torso is also different.
the vertical color at the center for bucky is red instead of white for steve.
the flag is also triangular instead of rectangular.
and bucky has a utility belt.

    are those it?

Bucky's pants are usually portrayed as darker.

Bucky's armor is not chain mail.

    Cap's boots are red.

    Bucky's gloves are not flared.
