Sorry if this has been discussed before. I could not find a thread on it before I posted.
Swing past the latest page (11) in the Thor Appreciation thread, we just had a question about trades this morning, and Telos posted what I thought was a really nice summary colour-coded by writer...you could also search "Thor comics reading order", it'll give you some leads.

Astonishing Thor was OK, but as with most of Rob Rodi's stuff it's a little hard to place anywhere that it fits :) could say he's got his own AU going, and in the case of For Asgard, I'm happy to hear it, if that's outside canon!

First Thunder I wouldn't waste my time with...I say that having wasted my time with it.

Wolves of the North is one of my own favourite random sample of Thor annuals/one-shots.
    Mostly moved on to fanfiction.net...

They don't really intersect much. To be honest I don't think they have intersected at all. The Mighty Thor is the title that primarily feachers the name sake character, while JIM features a young loki in his missadventures. I would recommend both titles.

    Glad you liked it!

My memory may be wrong since I no longer have the poster, but these images seem like they were taken right out of the Avengers 30th Anniversarry Poster that Perez had draw, but put in different positions. Interestingly absent are the Big 8...Cap, Thor, Iron Man, Wasp, Pym, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, and Vision. (Also missing from the poster was The Shroud, but that's another story entirely). No wait, The Vision is depicted...okay Big 7.

Was Doctor Strange ever in the Avengers before he joined the New Avengers after Civil War?

I'm fairly certain that he never took up Avengers membership before then, although he of course associated with -- and fought against -- the team on a number of occasions beforehand.

I'm just wondering where does World War Hulk fit into continuity with Bendis' run on Mighty and New Avengers?

Where do people think Iron Man:Iron Age sits in the timeline. Is it in the Heroic Age, and does it come before or after Avengers # 1-6? The Iron Age Hardcover is called "Throwbacks", and this word appears on Starks timeline in Avengers #5.

I believe it takes place after Avengers #1-6. I haven't read The Iron Age, but in the preview for The Iron Age: Alpha, Danny Rand says to Luke Cage that "We're all Avengers now", which implies the roster has already been selected. This happened in Avengers and New Avengers #1.

A question of my own, now: Where can I find a complete list of every writer who has had a run on Avengers? I'm aware of most of the classic writers, but it'd be helpful to know how long each writer's run lasted. Thanks in advance.

    Thanks. That would make sense.

I wonder if it comes after New Avengers #8, where Luke and Jess are out alone, and a Doombot crashes in NY. The Doombot says that "This is the end of times", and this comment is not followed up on, unless it is referring to the Dark Pheonix?

I highly doubt Bendis did that to reference The Iron Age. That's just another loose Bendis plot thread.
