Shouldn't that be Psyche, rather than Cupid?

GA does not get the nutjob bad guys lately nice change of pace.

Also like that she is more of a BC baddie than a GA.

Just read the latest ish that came out this week. Not that great, Cupid's hardly in it at all. "She's" drawn like a transvestitite in the issue as opposed to the cover. More than a little strange if you ask me.

See that page with Ollie going WTH after seeing a truck drive into a building?

Yeah, that was my reaction to this issue also.

it was the first issue of the arc not sure what you expected.
The subplot of the guy who lost his hearing interests me as well.

So what's up with this book?

Is this book worth picking up with Kreisberg's run so far?

The comment about Dinah pregnant gives me a headache alone. Let alone the idea of it...

As long as they don't start questioning who the dad is. I am not sure how far Everyman got on the wedding night but I would prefer GA finally have a kid in wedlock.

Everyman "couldn't get it up" according to Winick (in issue 2 or 3, the one where BC is meeting with Athena/Granny Goodness.) It's safe to assume they didn't do anything.

I realized why I dislike Cupid so much: she's essentially the Joker without the charm or the ability to make a joke. She's got the insanity, the obsession with a specific hero, and the seeming ability to take down people who should wipe the floor with her despite not having any obvious powers, training, or skills.

so you don't like her becasue she does not stack up to one fo the two most iconic villians in DC, after having what 10 panels to establish herself.

Well at least you are not jumping to conclusions.

I'm assuming this was a joke... if not, I dunno, that would be beyond horrible.

No, I'm saying she seemingly has the qualities that people dislike about the Joker, without having his strengths as a character.

The Joker gets to beat up a lot of people he shouldn't because he's the Joker. Cupid seemingly has these same qualities (if Merlyn's as tough as he was last issue, he should be able to take crazy stalker lady with no obvious experience even while tied to a chair. Similarly she's apparently trying/going to take down Count Vertigo, even though there's no way she should be able to touch him.)

I mean, really. So far the only skills she's shown is the ability to have a truck crash into a building and the ability to beat up a hairdresser. Most people reading this forum could do that. She doesn't have the credibility as a threat that Kreisberg (and apparently you) think she has.
