Default CBR: NYCC: Marvel Animation Panel

Supporting cast for the team of heroes includes Captain America (a mentor figure), Ms. Marvel (the resident S.H.I.E.L.D. rep) and a brand new teenage character created for the show called Reptil who will also debut in the comics Marvel Universe in an upcoming issue of "Avengers: The Initiative."
oh bother. why do they always do this crap?

    Worked for Harley Quinn.

And Morph on the X-Men, I enjoyed him.

New characters sometimes work out, you never know.

Those are the exception. Though didn't Morph appear before AOA?

Morph was inspired by a very short-lived character named Changeling who worked for Factor Three and impersonated Professor X until he died.

At least there seems to be some degree of synergy happening here. In a lot of cases, the character doesn't get introduced into the comics until a few years later.

Personally, while I'm not against the practice itself, I do have doubts about their choices sometimes. For example, I don't really care for X-23. I would have rather seen Spyke somehow get brought in (I know there was a similar character named Spike in the X-Statix, but I'm not sure it's the same thing). I also would have liked to see Hypnotia from the old Iron Man cartoon or even Buff and Refrax from the failed Generation X TV pilot.

Also, the personalities of the characters aren't always up to snuff after they're converted in. The Firestar from New Warriors doesn't seem much like the one from Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends.

I wanted to Spyke to die on X-Men Evolution. Although to be fair, he got better as a Morlock.

Why did people dislike him again? I don't get it, because personally I liked Evan.

Evan didn't really seem all that angry except in his first appearance. Otherwise, he was just kind of a cocky show-off.

    I don't think so.

Let's see. Scott was the straight-arrow. Jean was the big sister. Kurt was the goofball. Kitty was the innocent rich girl. Evan was the hotshot. Rogue was the loner.

I don't remember any of them being the "angry one" except maybe Rogue at times.

Let's see you are more bother by them introduce a new character more than the teenage Ironman or the Playschool Marvel toon?

And Firestar and Jimmy Olsen (Who was made for the radio drama). Just look at all those Chloe fans.

Again what bother you more was Spyke and not they were messing with the characters ages?

None of that really bothers me (well maybe the Playschool thing a little) Since I know that the target is Kids and not me.
