In “Dark Avengers”, Wolverine's son, Daken, took his father's identity, and in June he'll take something else from him as “Wolverine” becomes “Dark Wolverine.” CBR News spoke with writers Daniel Way and Marjorie Liu about the book.

Interesting. I'm excited for more Marjorie Liu Marvel work and I like Giuseppe Camuncoli so I'll have to give this a try.

I think I'll check it out, I like when new characters actually receive some push.

i really don't want to be overly cynical, but this seems like an Unnecessary Character spinning out of an Unnecessary Book... I like the basic idea of him impersonating Logan in Dark Avengers, but running around the rest of the MU on his own? not very interesting IMHO.

    *stares at Daken's hair*

Good god...I'm sorry, what were we talking about?
I'm beginning to think that Hell is a comic book forum.

Yeah, that was my first impression. Sounded (and still does) like a steaming hunk o'****, regardless of scripter or art. I mean, I don't doubt Liu or Camuncoli's credentials, but they're being forced to use turd as clay and we're supposed to buy earthenware pottery that reeks of cowpatty?

I dunno, I guess folks are interested.

Sounds good to me. Way's done good on Deadpool and Origins (since the Deadpool arc).

regardless of this, i am still ridiculously excited about Jason Aaron's Wolvie book (which i guess becomes the de-facto "main" Wolverine title)

lol. When I saw the creative team and setup, I immediately thought of you. <3 <3

That said... I'll a little ashamed to admit I'm kinda excited about the book. Original Sin was fun...

I would love to see Marjorie Liu write Miss Sinister. This team and Mike Carey must still be going through fierce discussions to decide who gets to use Claudine.

I love Liu and I'm okay with Way, but DAKEN?!?!?!?!?!!? There are so many other characters out there that are far more worthy and far more interesting and just as relevant as this bozo. Why him?

So Wolverine's ongoing ends at #75 and Dark Wolverine, Daken's book, starts then? Interesting.
