That was a good moment when she spotted Empath, indeed.

It's not hard to share all of her best moments, sadly, she only ever appeared in about 10 storylines. So my least favorites are: Inferno, The Soul Skinner (why on earth did Jubilee apply make up on an 8 year old???) and the issue she dies in. >:( The rest was pretty cool.

I like that she was stubborn and basically just did whatever she wanted every storyline, just like me. Prof asks her not to meddle into the Cloak and Dagger fiasco, Illyana teleports them all to limbo anyway. I believe she disobeyed her curfew at the Massachussets Academy... Prof needs her to teleport to earth, she won't obey cause she's moody! I love all the first gen New Mutants, but Illyana's the most like a daughter to me. <3

Yes indeedy. That's our girl! In that issue, Illyana exposed her magical powers to the rest of the New Mutants for the firs time.
They'd only JUST been aware that she was a teleporter in the previous issue when S'ym came a calling for her. Ya.
And I agree with you that her time was too short.
I too loved that she tended to blow off authority. Like when she ditched out on the Danger Room training session where they faced the mauraders, just before faux-sabertooth slashed at her

That's what I'm talking about. Every single storyline she undermines any authority figure no matter if their decision is right or wrong.

That's why I liked the Fat Karma story best, cause she bested the New Mutants' leader.

Oh lord! Right???
I mean, YES, I bought that figure and I still have it...but its hideous.
I wound up making a custom Magik out of an X-23 spare figure I had.
They need to bust out some Magik memorobilia ASAP. Statues, a decent action figure, a bust...whatevs! Get on it Marvel.

Not that I mind eye candy, but I'm not found of her new costume being so titilating since she's a minor. :/ I hope that the current editorialship will consider her as more than jailbait.

Indeed. I'm dying to find out exactly what age she is, now that she's back. Is she a teen again? She certainly looks older. Dani and Sam's age? I dunno.
I would ALSO love to see what she'll look like POST infernus!! In an X Uniform. Preferably not designed like any of the Astonishing team's designs. Bleh!

I think her x-men uniform will cut just shortly under her breasts, so that you get the impression you'll see the whole thing when she raises her sword in victory but just not quite!!! :x
