She throws a fit because she doesn't want to go back to earth, which would've left them all stranded in space, in the middle of a war, no less! However Illyana has no trouble constantly grabbing Rhane, aggressing her for the good of the entire team. In one storyline, she gambles selling out all of her friends for victory. Then at some point, she pounders just leaving them behind.

It gives Illyana some personality.

Nah, they met up with Xavier and the Starjammers somehow. Gossamyr was some other pile of crap after New Mutants was cancelled with issue#54.

Seeing those scans just reminded me how much I miss Bill Sienkiewicz...he drew a great Illyana...and I absolutey fell in love with Art Adams' version of the Darkchild...and Divid Finch's cover in X-Infernus #1 is just pure HAWT-ness!

Oh, phooey. Rahne did nothing but judge Illyana. "She's a wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitch! Eviiiiiiiiiiiiiiil! (Burn her!)" Wolfgirl deserved everything she got.

Also, the reason Illyana didn't want to teleport back to Earth is because all the way away in Shi'Ar space, she was safe from Limbo. So yeah, she just didn't want to give up her soul to get home.

And Yanapryde, I like to cast Rachel Nichols as Illyana.

I find this casting acceptable.
I stand by my Kristen 100% but if she were unavailable, I would accept your choice whole heartedly.

Also, I very much enjoy that illustration of Magik. Its a favorite of mine. I have a folder on my computer full of favorite images of Magik I've found online.
