Well she has previously lost parts of her soul for power so fashion is probably easy for her.

Although yeah should have kept something in line with her P5 Armor.

IDK, I don't really like Liefeld's designs in general. Also, not really a fan of capes, unless there's a good reason for them.

I prefer the original white and black graduation costume. Mystrerious without being too flashy, and it looks like something a sorceress would wear.

Heyya guys. :) New Magik fan here, inspite of... not really having read much about her yet. I've run into her in two places so far; interacting with Kitty Pryde in Ellis' Excalibur (Or at least being brought up... I think she was in it, but I'm not sure)... and more recently reading a rather touching scene between her and Magneto, posted over on S/D. :) Can't recall the issue, but that's left me curious, and I'm now trying to find out more about the character. Which promises to be.... interesting. ;) But I like what I've seen of her so far, and am on the road to try and find out more.

The scene with Magneto was prbably New Mutants # 52.

For Illyana the important early issues are Uncanny #160, the 4 issue Magik limited series, New Mutants 14-73, though she isn't in every issue of that run, and Uncanny 187 and 190-191.
