Thanks!!
Bachalo is one of my favorite artists, so see his Illyana was like a dream come true :P
I agree with this.
She really looked beautiful, but I prefer to see her in Uncanny, Gillen is gold, even if I hate the art in Uncanny.
She truly is a great X-Man, her loyalties are clear and I bet she isn't afraid to confront any Avenger at this moment, defeating Strange was important.
I personally don't care about any interaction between her and Kitty, that friendship is over and both are moving on.
I always pondered at the meaning of that corpse. I know it was supposed to be Illyana, I just did not get where that corpse came from.
Wasn't Illyana resurrected through the "darkchylde" essences remaining in Limbo? That is definitely a part of the real Illyana. Regardless, if she has most of her soul, I say it is the real Illyana, if there is even such a thing.
What a mind twister.

That's the corpse of "Lightchylde", the Illyana who died in Inferno and just left her armor on earth, her body went to limbo with all the demons.
I like to think that this Illyana had some soul in her body, and when she died that part of her soul died too (lol), so that's the missing part in Magik 2.0.
Illyana 2.0 was created through Belasco's magic and Darkchylde essences, but it was just Darkchylde, no soul, just a demon. I do understand Kitty's hate towards Magik 2.0, Darkchylde decided to reclaim the soulsword and the bloodstones of Illyana Rasputin just because "it" looks like her and had her memories.
But don't get me wrong, I do love Illyana 2.0, and all this complicated story makes me like her even more.
I suppose it is all up to one's interpretation.
Was that the corpse of the Illyana from Inferno? Confusing!
Since the corpse still had the bloodstones, wouldn't that make the little girl just another version as well?
Since this Illyana has the bloodstones, which is her soul, I'll just go with this being the "real" Illyana. Again, I'm not sure there is such a thing!

One, you're being like 244 now with the assumptions. Until something is told or shown we do not know for sure what it is, like the body. Illyana has said that she wiped out her own existence at Inferno, and that the child saved was an alternate version to begin with. Given those facts it is most likely that the body is simply from another timeline and not any Illyana we know.
Second, now with the soul sword and her blood stones she has most of her soul back. So while as Belasco created her she was not truly Illyana, who can say that now? Or who is to say what is a person other than the some of their memories and experiences, which would make her always the 'real' Illyana?
Wow man, that's sort of below the belt, but I won't deny it.
I don't understand how are the bloodstones and soulsword makes up the majority of Magik's soul. Witchfire from X-infernus #1 made it explicit that the bloodstones and soulsword are all the pieces from her soul and any new info that she's still missing a piece would just make it more convoluted. If some of us are correct to assume that she still remains demonic, we can just use Ororo from the Magik mini series as an example. Ororo did regain her soul, but she's still tainted.

That's how I got it.
That body had the bloodstones that Witchfire and Magik 2.0 were searching for, that's why I think that's the body of the Illyana from Inferno.
That's my theory of course, we'll never know exactly what Wells wanted to tell because he isn't writing her anymore. I'll ask him on facebook about this, I hope to get an answer.
Wowzers!
Asking some creators could be interesting. There is a good chance we will get even more questions than answers. It seems Illyana works best when parts of her go unanswered.
Professor Xavier described her best when he called her "A riddle wrapped within an enigma".
I love that avatar, Silent Sigh.

I truly didn't expect an answer but here it is!!!
So.. I was right!
And forgive my english, btw.
The answer is odd in the sense that rather than just say yes he says it was the intention. Maybe since he's no longer writing it he realizes any current writer can make a change and that that change would be the accepted canon because of how vague he made the situation, or he ontended the situation to be so vague in the first place.
