Makes me so annoyed. Scott's a hypocrite keeping Ginge around and loose in the world when she might have the ability to wipe out reality. Its like leaving a loaded gun in the hands of a child. But Illyana who wielded that kind of power during 'Rise of the Mutants' and came out the other side he punishes by locking her in a prison and worse guarded by a dreadlocked robot who still reminds me of the creepy cyborg woman from Superman III movie.

But the difference with Hope Summers is she's valuable to the mutant race, but I don't care much about her. She still hasn't developed her own voice in terms what separates her to the other characters if we're talking about characterizations. To me, she comes off a bit as a "mary-sue".

It is a hard-knock life for Illyana right now, but things will get better!

Yea, okay. It's from New Mutants Forever (and I'm pretty sure that entire revisitation was garbage) but this is a pretty bad ass moment for Illyana. I love the bullet deflecting with her armor, and the multi-stepping-disc summoning to remove her opponents.

Back in the day, during the original run, I admit being curious about her armor and wondering what it meant --- admittedly I was also a tad bit disappointed to find Simonson wrote it as some kind of gradual progression to her "darkchild suit". This image makes me wish it was more of a connection to the Rasputin bloodline in some way, being so similar to Colossus.

There's another image from NMF where Illyana punches Magma, and her arm looks crazy strong. It'd be cool if she were able to summon up super strength in the one armored arm. Just sayin...

And to this day, Chris Claremont still hasnt revealed what his original intent was for Illyana and her eldritch armor, huh? I bet whatever it was, it would have been convoluted and glorious, and heavy on exposition and thought balloons!

I think one of the New Mutants (Sam?) commented that Illyana was "super-strong" or a "a lot stronger" in her Darkchilde form.

And let's be honest, people: If ANY X-man or woman were capable of being on multiple teams (How Marvel could even begin to explain Wolverine is beyond my comprehension) it would be Illyana.

No problem. Id definetly welcome the idea of her being on X-force and like you said, it would make sense with her abilities. I love the color scheme and the incorporation of the armor on her costume. I really want to see her on a lineup with Cable as well

I love that image! Many people have spoken about Magik being a good match on X-Force. Who knows what the future may bring.

I'd love to see her in UXF but if the rest of the X-Men ever found out they'd probably never, ever trust her again.
