Default Classic Runs: Busiek's Avengers or Waid's FF

I realize comparing Waid's FF to Morrison 's New X Men is kinda apples to oranges., so this seems a bit more fair. Which did u prefer and why?

Waid's FF. I love Busiek's Astro City, but in his mainstream work I often found very boring (stilted and expository dialogue, especially).

Again, Waid's FF. Much more consistent story-wise. Drawings in both runs were great, so I won't compare them.

hard to say myself. Both are brilliant. Busiek's is older and slightly more classic. Waid's FF is a bit more modern, but both are excellent.

They're both the best run of their respective title in the last few decades, but I'm gonna have to go with Waid.

    Busiek.

I've always been more of an Avengers fan than a FF fan.

Busiek's Avengers. At least the George Perez, Steve Epting, and Alan Davis drawn issues of the run.

What the heck is with all these Busiek vs. Waid threads? Did they get into a viscious bar brawl recently or something?

I'll put five on Waid if they do.

I'm sure he got some pinned up rage after DC screwed him out of Action comics.

No way, I have a feeling Kurt Busiek knows his way around a knife fight.
