Thats some good news..... Tie ASM to the right thing and it sells crazy..... though i doubt we see a bump in readership afterwards but you never know
If you listen closely, you can hear the sound of ASM #583 putting a cigarette out on Final Crisis #6's right bosom.
I'm beginning to think that Hell is a comic book forum.

LOL.
It really is true.
NO ONE is talking about the fact that they just killed off the fucking Batman. Though honestly, I think that's partly DC's fault. The media reported on Batman's "death" at the end of R.I.P., and a month later they're going to report "Batman is dead again"? I don't think so.
But yeah, Marvel really did take a giant steaming Spider-Dump all over the potential hype of Final Crisis #6.
Agreed. Even though the Obama back-up story was nothing more than pure fluff designed solely to appeal to his most slavish of supporters who only cared about getting the cover as opposed to actually reading the story (not to mention how it's another attempt by Marvel to boost sales on a title that hasn't been performing sales-wise as they would like), DC totally screwed up what should have been a huge deal--the "death" of one the most iconic and popular comic book characters of all time.
Of course, the manner in which Batman "died" was also weak in and of itself. I mean, seriously, the "final fate of Batman" amounts to essentially him having a quick draw duel between himself and Darkseid? Seriously? As Tremmar said on the Batman boards, having Batman mysteriously disappear after the helicopter explosion in the last part of R.I.P. was a better exit than that--and that was lackluster as well.

Quite frankly all this hoopla over a 5 page back up and a cover is pretty ridiculous to me.
Especially after having been beat to the punch by Image by Savage Dragon.
