Oh, epic fail. There are just some things from the 90s that you don't resurrect.

So I guess we know in which way "Cable's biggest challenge next year will be himself...literally." Having said that, I'm with Flaneur in that I never thought Cable's "evil clone" was all that compelling of a villain. Clones have been done to death IMO.

Having said that, I've always thought it would've been much more interesting if Stryfe had been the original and Cable the clone (as originally intended). Just a better twist IMO, having the original be taken by Apocalypse and raised to be bat$#!t insane while the clone is the good guy.

Cover reminds me of something from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

    Arrgaghh! Brain Damaaagee!

So what was he reborn due to the Messiah birth or something. Confusing as all hell now how this is going to tie-in to Askani, Pryor's reappearance, the female Sinister, etc. etc.

Stryfe was introduced at the same time as Cable. Stryfe was cool at a time but then the whole Gambit and bishop sons of atom mini pretty much wrecked his character and theirs.

If the comic code was still in play when that was published then I don't think it would have been permitted. Cloning is not moral and clones can't be morally superior and independent beings from natural persons. Or some shit like that.

I trust Kyle and Yost to deliver.
I know Kevin Nichols through a guy that knows a gal. Small world!

Hmm...maybe so. These days, though, perhaps they can rectify that and make Stryfe the real son of Scott Summers and Cable the clone. No comics code anymore (or at least Marvel doesn't adhere to it).

So do I. I've been wanting them to get their hands on Cable for awhile now. I bet he could be a lot of fun with them writing him.

Bishop would want to impale the Messiah Child on those spikes.

    Stryfe's back, cool.
