Ant-Man being on this title is a win for me. I didn't realise that until this article.

I'm still unsure about the art. Don't hate it, but not a real fan either. Maybe it's because it's following Deodato's run, which I thought was perfect for TBolts.

I prefer Roberto's art over Mike's. Both are good though.

Everyone is expendable? I'm not as excited about this as I thought I would be. I liked Diggle's Adam Strange and GA: Year One. I hope this rules.

I've been saying since i saw him on Ms. Marvel during Civil War that Roberta de la Torre could be a break out artist ~ looks like this could be the project to really garner some notice.

i loove the slightly Michael Lark vibe i'm getting from his pages here!

Just because everyone is expendable, does not mean that everyone will be expended.

    Default No, thanks

Ah yes, let's just flush the redemption angle that's been the core of this series for so long and fill the team up with unrepentant mercenaries, gloryhounds and outright scumbags....because abandoning a core concept of the series worked so well before. (Fightbolts, anyone?)

Just one more Marvel book to dump from my list. I just can't wait until Dark Reign or the next "event" or the next one after that, etc., etc., invades and ruins every Marvel book I follow, so I can have more money to hunt down back issues and trade collections.

Remember when the ultimate point of a superhero story was that the good guys prevail, rather than the good guys turning fascist, or the bad guys gaining authority over the good guys? Who decreed that escapist fiction needs to be as dark and depressing as the world the reader is trying to escape from?

...Where were you during Ellis' run?

No one decreed it, but it's certainly made for more compelling stories.

Wow. Lighten up, buddy. You didn't even read it yet. Read Marvel Adventures, if you can't stomach a bad guy winning every now and then.

That cover is incredibly badass. I thought i was done with Thunderbolts after Ellis' excellent run - but I tried Diggle's first 2 issues and they were awesome. Im back on board.
