At first I wondered if this was a publicity shot aimed at Obama's joke about being sent here by his father Jo-rel (a reference to Superman).However it's cool to see that Obama is a comic book fan! People laugh at us, but there's a lot you can learn a lot from reading superhero books. I know many successful people who have sited superheroes as being examples and inspirations to them.
On another note, Joe lost weight! He looks good!![]()

It is nice that Marvel is doing an Obama cover, it is also nice that Obama is a comic book fan. It is not cool though that in order to get this book retailers would have been forced to buy a ridiculous number of Amazing Spider-Man #583. So it looks as though no one has this variant. Even the largest comics retailer in my area will only be able to get the second printing. It'd have been nicer if Joe had gone on to CNN before FOC!
