Default CBR: FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK: Tim Ervin

of such manga titles as “Lone Wolf and Cub,” “Gantz,” "Appleseed," and
webcomic collections like "Megatokyo" and "Basic Instructions."

    Default manga credits

"In his ten years at Dark Horse, Ervin has edited some of the publisher's biggest manga series, including Lone Wolf and Cub from beginning to end, Samurai Executioner, Path of the Assassin, Trigun, Hellsing, Gunsmith Cats, 3x3 Eyes, and Appleseed."

A bit of a correction on Tim's credits:

Tim was the Assistant Editor on LW&C on Volumes 2-13 (roughly), on which I was Editor (or, as Tim correctly points out, "project-managed").

I assume the credits on GSC, 3x3, and Appleseed are for overseeing the newest, "unflopped" editions, as these have been around since the late '80s-early '90s...

(I haven't looked at any of these books in years; I assume the current credits inside them are still accurate!)

Congratulations to Tim on his success as an editor.

    Best,

    Mike Hansen
    (ex-Dark Horse Editorial)

Thanks Mike. I've made the correction. Tim did say he began LW&C as an assistant editor, and in my attempt to reduce for clarity I may have misled.
