Meh.2) Will the title that follows after “X-Men: Legacy” still revolve around one character?
Yes. But with a very full and rich supporting cast!
It will BE!Scanner is someone who Professor X might already have visited, in between the events of the “Legacy” arcs. We haven’t seen every moment of his journey, or every interaction he has along the way that falls under the heading of “unfinished business.” The parallel with Rogue is an interesting one. Of course, Professor X no longer leads the X-Men, and in any case Scanner no longer has her powers, so the most obvious way of making restitution to her – if Professor X felt that it was due – [....]. But it’s true that he refused to help her turn her life around in the way that he helped Rogue. There’s certainly an untold story there, begging to be written.
Gah! I wish it could've been told. D-List month has put me in a full blown Acolytes mood and Professor X chose the worse case to turn down as far as reformed villains are concerned.
wow.paft.yaiekes!.
[tumbl me]
Rogue, Daken, or Magneto MAYBE.
I dunno.
I pulled those names out of my bee hole.
I'm kinda disappointed. Rogue's solo turned me off to solo books because it seems like they struggle to find something to tell that's new and different so they try to mix up the character's origins.
It worked for Emma imo but not for Rogue.
I'm still excited! I refuse to be pessimistic about this and I hope the concept intrigues me more than XM:L.
I disagree with most Rogue fans.
No Ms. Marvel powers
No Gambit
Pretty please? <3
The Ms. Marvel powers returning would be such a regression and she's a lot more fun randomly touching people unconscious so she can blast the hell out of rogue pet store creatures.
I don't see how either of those previous, chronic illnesses of her life returning could be considered fresh after a good period of them finally being absent.
I'm thinking the main character will either be Rogue or Beast, one who is already not with the X-Men, another who seems on the brink of splitting from them, and both favorites of Carey's.
can anyone tell me what this Gambit:Origin is and where it was first mentioned?
X-Fan Forever
I never got what's the deal of so many fans is with always wishing for Rogue to get her "Miss Marvel" powers back?
Remember when Evolution started lot's people complained that Rogue didn't had those powers. But i couldn't understand it.
Actualy i never liked it. I started reading X-men at the late 90's so in theory i should be used to them, but instead i always found Rogue's original mutation far more intresting and i think that the Miss Marvel powers just turned her into a supergirl clone.
So she became like a all purpose super character instead of using her creativly in fights.
I prefer it when she can only temporaly use powers she absorbed. It also builds up a certain trust situation with her team mates (by letting her absorb a little bit of their energy to give her an advantage in fight). Being able to temporaly restore powers she once absorbed is also okay in my book.
But not permanent super girl powers.
So here is another one who wishes: "Please don't give Rogue Miss Marvel powers again!"
I think it will still revolve around boring Xavier forever.
For some reason, Marvel refuses to get rid of Xavier?![]()
Even Carey's awesome scripting can't make him very interesting.
