It's been awhile since I've read GLA. Anyone know what in it alluded to Reckoning War?

I totally dig the Baron, and would have loved to read about his early supervillain days. Hope Gage picks up on that at some point.
I know Kevin Nichols through a guy that knows a gal. Small world!
If nihilism didn't take some delight in destruction one might suspect nihilists were an unnaturally morbid sort.

I'm a latecomer to this series. I bought the first issue, but it was about a group of new characters with no ties to the Avengers -- not at all what the cover "promised."
It took SI to get me to try it again. I definitely prefer Triathlon as the 3-D Man, and it was pretty cool to learn that all of the Initiative teams had one Skrull as a member. Some of the art in recent issues has really blown me away.
But what really interests me is the use of characters like Hellcat and Tigra (boy, I wish someone would give this character a break -- her mini from a few years ago was a good "reboot" of the character, but Bendis really did a number on her). Had I seen more third-string former Avengers from the beginning, I probably wouldn't have dropped the series so quickly.

I'm beginning to think that Hell is a comic book forum.

Hmm.
I suppose playing god is okay as long as you love your bastardizations of nature created in the name of the US government.
Alright, I'll give you that one.
