Congrats to Paul Cornell and Leonard Kirk on coming in 10th. Hopefully, Captain Britain and MI:13 sales will improve in the USA. It's a great book.

Even though I have problems with this top 100 list, the fact that CBR recognized "Scalped" as one of the best, is truly excellent. This has to be one of the most underrated (based on what I have seen of the sales figures) titles out there right now. It is not only one of the best reads of 2008 but possibly one of the best titles of all time.

Congrats to Jason Aaron for this.

For a list that started so poorly, I'll be damned if it didn't end fairly well. I still don't think Green Lantern or Action Comics belong anywhere near the top 20, but America seems to disagree with me. Kudos on placing Captain Britain, All-Star Superman, RASL and the Fables books in the top ten. Extremely disappointed with the lack of Doktor Sleepless, Eternals and the now-defunct Iron Man: Director of SHIELD (the Knaufs' portions, anyway), but I'll take what I can get.

I kinda figured All-Star Superman would end up being #1.

I'm glad Incredible Hercules made the top ten, though.

I'm shocked that X-Force failed to make the list at all, even while comics like the Hulk got on there. Considering the rabid fan base X-Force has and just how kick-ass it is, I find its tepid reception amongst critics a little puzzling. Its easy to second-guess these kinds of lists, but wow...

I'm happy to see what I considered to be the best comic of 2008 in the Top 20, Love & Rockets New Stories #1. Nice to see that Brian Wood got love as well as Jason Aaron.

Glad to see Incredible Herc make the top ten; it's currently my favourite comics series.

Never could get into All-Star Superman, mainly because of Quitely's ugly art.

That surprised me too, honestly, as well as the lack of inclusion of Deadpool, given how well fans have received that book. And hey, five issues in four months clearly beats Hulk's 9 issues in 12. Mice Templar should have been on the list, too, as well as Resurrection.

Aw, don't ruin it for him, his Johns-man crush is almost cute.
