Hmm...anyone think the main Wolverine book could be turning into Fantastic Force after Millar's run is done? I hope so!
This just in: Chris Sprouse has pulled out of Orson Scott Card.
I am definitely excited about Jason Aaron working on this Wolverine book. His "Get Mystique" arc in Wolverine was fun and his current Manifest Destiny mini is awesome. Did anyone read Jason Aaron's Punisher Max X-Mas Special recently?? That was also awesome, much better than most of the one-shots I've read lately for sure! I haven't read his Ghost Rider stuff yet, though...how has that been going?
I have never been a huge Wolverine fan, but i must admit i am thinking about picking this up.

This looks like it could be a great read! Aaron writes a great Wolverine and I'm really excited with the things he said about the book.
Yup. That's exactly what I think it's becoming.
It appears to be a book following the adventures of the New Defenders (introduced in Millar's last Fantastic Four arc) on NuEarth (an artificial Earth in an alternate dimension). Some version of Wolverine is on the team (called the Hooded Man; I believe that he is actually Old Man Logan) and a descendant of the Hulk (Robert Bruce Banner, Jr.) who was raised by the Hooded Man/Logan in the far future. There are also several new characters on the team. I think it will be pretty cool, actually.
As for this installment of X-Position, I got my question answered, and it was definitely the answer I wanted! No yellow costume in this book (thank God!). It will be "some variation of the X-Force uniform." My guess is that it's just the X-Force outfit without the 'X' on the belt. Perhaps without the red eyes as well (or without the mask entirely). Great news IMO.![]()
I actually wish he would wear the X-Force costume in all of his solo books (as well as X-Force itself), and thus would only wear the yellow one in Astonishing, Uncanny and New Avengers (i.e., when he's doing more super-hero-y stuff).
Just my $.02.
Jason Aaron on Wolverine = WIN!
Heres hoping for a Cable cameo
