This show is pure old-school awesomeness.

    Default Maybe I'm just dense.

I keep hearing how great this show is, yet of the first three episodes I watched, I found myself wondering exactly WHO the show is aimed at. The pacing is too slow to be engaging to most children, and the stories are too simplistic to engage this adult.

The character designs are fine, but what am I missing here?

I may just try and get back into this series since there's such a dearth of new and original comic-based animated shows out now.

Just saw the episode with Etrigan and Lefay. Nice homages and it might seem now this series may finally be picking up steam. Theres still the problem the easy and unexplained solutions such as how did Merlin turn Etrigan back and Batman's suddenly breaking free from Lefay's powers, but otherwise a good ep.

Am I the only one that noticed that this week's episode (Day of the Dark Knight) was written by J.M DeMatteis?
