Default I like this take on Gen13 even though I've never be drawn to

    Gen13.

It just seemed too juvenile and out of touch goofy for me, but I'm interested now with NOTB and World's End. I might loop it in with the other 3 titles I love.

I've enjoyed the series so far and Beatty's take on the team has been great

Scott Beatty showed us in Number of the Beast that he likes the slow build. That's what he's done from Gen 13 #21 where he took over to the latest issue #25 which to me finally up'd the anty for the title.

I haven't really liked the way Gen 13 was redone. The current storyarc has been the best in terms of story, but I think the art is horrible.

Yeah, I didn't like the art at first but I think I've warmed up to it. I checked out Mike Huddleston's blog and saw how his art is in general so I understand how he got the look down for Gen 13 now.

Interesting! The heavy inking is really ruining the original art. The pencils looks a lot better. I get a much better sense of depth and detail in the art before the inking.

The book is way better now than it was before... but still not as good as the old days.

However, I don't really think a Post-Apocalypse Series is really the best of directions.

What we really need is the return of the DV8's. As I've said time and time again.

I can't remember for sure, but I think Christos Gage mentioned somewhere that we'd be seeing DV8 again during the World's End storyline. I know they're pushing to bring back a lot of WS characters that haven't been used in a while so their return is highly possible right now.

Yea, Gage said some time in '09, DV8 would pop-up, but I don’t think he specifically meant in Gen-13
