    Default Dirty Deeds w/ Angel!

    Dirty Deeds!

"Dirty Deeds" is a series of threads where a discussion can be held about the morally questionable, or outright evil acts of characters in comics. It might be a discussion about times a hero crossed a moral line they shouldn't have, or a discussion of a villain's most horrific acts in their history, but the premise remains the same.

Where possible, a poll will be included to vote upon said character's "dirtiest deed".

Please do remember that there are no wrong answers, this is all a matter of opinion. Since everyone has a different set of morals, please try and respect differences in people's own beliefs.

In this edition of Dirty Deeds we’re going to take a look at a hero who’s been around the X-Men since the earliest days. Some would call him a spoiled playboy, and others fear that he may very well be one of the harbingers of the end of the world. This time out, we’re going to look at…

    Warren Worthington III…
    ANGEL!!!

So what is Warren’s Dirtiest Deed?

    - Acting like a jerk in boarding school to get assigned his own room so no other kids there could learn about the wings forming on his back? (revealed in Uncanny X-Men #54)

    - Keeping his wings secret from even his parents? (revealed in Uncanny X-Men #54)

    - Upon first meeting Cyclops, Iceman, and Professor X, battling them, and knocking out Bobby? (revealed in Uncanny X-Men #55-56)

    - Kidnapping Sue Richards from the Baxter Building with the X-Men? (Fantastic Four (vol. 1) #28 )

-Secretly forming a romantic relationship with one of the X-Men’s former enemies, the Scarlet Witch, and sneaking away from the team to date her? (revealed in X-Men: First Class (vol. 1) #7)

    - Accusing Cyclops of deliberately attacking him while in battle against Kukulcan because if anything happened to Warren, he would be able to date Jean Grey, unopposed? (Uncanny X-Men #26)

    - Failing to recognize that “The Creator” of the Savage Land was actually Magneto without his helmet, and aiding him? (Uncanny X-Men #62-63)

    - Telling the X-Men that the Hellfire Club really wasn’t all that bad, and he’d been a member since he was a kid? (Uncanny X-Men #132-133)

    - Due to his rustiness at being a hero, nearly getting Nightcrawler killed in a Danger Room scenario and yelling at the rest of the X-Men for calling him on it? (Uncanny X-Men #139)

    - Quitting the X-Men, and abandoning their cause of mutant/human peace because he couldn’t stand Wolverine’s attitude? (Uncanny X-Men #148)

    - Attempting to kill the New Mutants and Professor X on behalf of Professor Power? (Defenders (vol. 1) #129)

    - Coming up with the idea for X-Factor with Cameron Hodge, lying to the public and telling them the team was made up of mutant hunters but not mutants? (X-Factor (vol. 1) #1)

    - Refusing to tell Jean Grey that Cyclops had married Madelyne Pryor? (X-Factor (vol. 1) #1-10)

    - Making a romantic advance towards Jean Grey while still dating Candy Southern, leading to their breakup? (X-Factor (vol. 1) #10)

    - Becoming Apocalypse’s Horseman, Death, and battling his longtime friends in X-Factor? (X-Factor (vol. 1) #15-25)

    - Decapitating Cameron Hodge in retaliation for him murdering Candy Southern? (X-Factor (vol. 1) #34)

    - Killing Crimson, and all of the Ravens? (X-Factor (vol. 1) #57-59)

    - As part of his initiation ritual to join the Ravens, attempting to kill Charlotte Jones? (X-Factor (vol. 1) #59)

    - Decapitating Kamikaze, of the Mutant Liberation Front? (X-Factor (vol. 1) #85)

    - Refusing to kill Apocalypse, when he asked Archangel for a mercy kill while he was wounded by the Dark Riders? (X-Force (vol. 1) #18)

    - Having Worthington Industries begin plans to mass-produce Forge’s Neutralizer Gun? (X-Men Unlimited (vol. 1) #17)

    - Chastising his girlfriend, Psylocke, for keeping Gambit’s secret, that he had worked with the Marauders? (Uncanny X-Men #350)

    - Funding the mutant whorehouse known as the X-Ranch, through Worthington Industries? (Uncanny X-Men #402)

    - Peeking at a naked Husk, pretending to still be knocked unconscious to do so? (Uncanny X-Men #419)

    - Lying to reporter Sally Floyd, and telling her he was depowered on M-Day? (Generation M #4)

    - Joining Amadeus Cho and his renegades, allying themselves on the side of the Warbound Hulk during World War Hulk? (Incredible Hulk (vol. 2) #106-112)

    - Slaughtering the group of Purifiers known as the Choir? (X-Force (vol. 3) #6)

    - Attacking the Vanisher as Archangel in brought daylight, in a street full of innocent bystanders? (X-Force (vol. 3) #8)

    - Killing a group of Purifiers who were attempting mass suicide bombings? (Fear Itself: Uncanny X-Force #1-3)

    - Killing a newspaper reporter and attacking another who learned that he was Archangel again, and that X-Force existed as an assassination squad? (Uncanny X-Force #10)

    - Becoming the new head of Clan Akkaba, and joining the Final Horsemen? (Uncanny X-Force #13)

    - Becoming the new head of Clan Akkaba, and joining the Final Horsemen? (Uncanny X-Force #13)

    - Mass murdering a whole town in Montana to run a test with the Celestial Seed in its place? (Uncanny X-Force #15)

As you can clearly see, with all the shady things he's done, it seems highly likely that Warren, in fact, is no angel. Now vote for what you think is Warren’s Dirtiest Deed!

Warren's dirtiest deed is his pattern of leading on innocent homosexuals like Andrew Palmer, Cameron Hodge, Robert Drake and The Dazzler. Put out already!

Ah Warren Worthington, the most brutal and violent member of the O5. Archangel's demeanor and metal wings make him one of the most badass X-Men ever and I enjoyed it whenever he got violent.

Honestly, I would say Jean's the most violent and brutal of the O6.

The D'Bari would certainly agree, if they were alive.

I contemplated adding in when he exposed Psylocke to the Crimson Dawn to save her life, but that one's sort of odd.

The bad is, he unknowingly indebted Betsy to a horrible shadow ninja from a mystical realm.

The good is, he saved her life. But, Betsy just seems to pop up back from the dead, anyways, so maybe he should've just left well enough alone, and let it happen at its own pace.

Like I said, I'm torn on that one.

You must mean Warren's Uncle Burt, international jewel thief, and fratricidal maniac.

Although, this one is still really one of Mystique's Dirty Deeds... but it involves Warren while he dated Dazzler (Ali Blaire):
