a tad bit off topic, but does anyone know if Dini is returning to 'tec after BftC? I've heard it said many times that Morrison is returning but I haven't heard a word about Dini.
I know dini has a zatanna mini series coming out in 2009 for defo. I will be interested in checking that out.
"You can't trust them as poets either. The true poet is anonymous, as to his habits, but these boys have to look, act, and apparently smell like poets"
Flannery O'Connor on the beats.
Speaking of TEAM books, I wish Dini would want to write BOP especially if they are realigning it back into the Bat universe. I dunno, I just wish more writers would want the challenge of trying to make a book like that successful. It already has some of the best characters imaginable, Oracle, Huntress, Lady Blackhawk. All it needs is a credible writer. I think more writers ought to take risk instead of just writing books like Batman, Superman, JLA, etc..books that really sell all by themselves because IMO they haven't been the best books out there even though their sells numbers are higher than others.
We should know by March if Dini is returning to Tec because that's when the solicitations for June (read: post-BFTC) will come out.
Paul Dini wrote one of my all time favorite comics, in fact I probably read comics because of this comic. A short little comic called "Case Study" ever since then I've had a place in my heart for him.
