I loved the way he marched up the side of that wall and stared in Jenazad's face with his hands in his pockets like a boss. That's got to be a fundamental martial arts no no but... man..... if that wasn't awesome!

From this chapter onward I resolved to route for Hongo Akira in all fights, forever.

This fight is kicking so much ass.

I read it while playing Fairy Tail OST Power Unleashed in the background. It was awesome.

Considering the sheer amount of mid-fight exposition on how insanely hard Rimi's trained and how much she's learned just so she can beat Miu, it's going to be kind of annoying to see her with her deadly focused approach ultimately lose anyways to the now Leeroy Jenkins-ing protagonist.

Apparently, Rimi's hard work is nothing compared to Miu's hard work + genetics.

To be fair, Miu just came off of a long training trip of her own, induced by a psycho that was arguably much more saditic than Kensei, and was actively holding back until now due to how poorly (or rather, perfectly) said training mixed with her natural propensity towards going bananas and beating the crap out of Kenichi level opponents.

Or, y'know, Miu, since Kenichi is right there and her attraction to him, while not something she fully understands, is a lot less obsessed stalker-ish than Rimi's fixation on Odin.

While I wish she could win, the more likely result is that Kisara develops a new technique and then beats Chikage rather handily.

Huh, just got back to this series and...I'm somewhat surprised Ukita is just barely hanging on. Dude's got insane durability (I mean, that's all he can offer these days but still). O_O

Please for the love of god give the man the training he needs.

Really unlikely. I see Chikage having a crisis of conscience and relenting at the last moment instead. Either that or it'll take genius teamwork from them to beat her.

Given that the Katsujinken crew have a bad habit of pulling through against all odds, I'm not looking forward to the idea of Chikage being chumped out because of friendship/willpower/plot.
