Said opponent was specifically near Master-class.
They acknowledged afterward that Kenishi was at the beginning of Expert.
Expert level isn't some fine line between Disciple and Master, it's a tier on it's own.
Like...compare first chapter Kenishi with say...Odin back in the Ragnarok fight. Both are Disciples. They are also not remotely equals.
Or the lamer masters and the Elder. Both are Masters.
Being in the same category doesn't mean you won't get curbstomped.
Suffering is a fact of life. You survive if you find a reason to endure it.
Yeah, I remember something about expert level being even wider category than disciple.
"I checked the abandoned warehouse, only to find it abandoned..."
New chapter is up.
"Atlantis"? I don't remember - was she ever called by that codename before? Yomi doesn't really seem that big on codenames anyway...
So. Trap, or a genuine desire to talk?
I don't think Ryuuto would stab Kenichi in the back.
Nik Hasta: "I'm not a ninja dammit!"
Elewa - SHR3
Respect Killy! (BLAME!?)
Respect the Mamudo Children!
I thought Atlantis was the group of prodigies that Kensei was training.
Yeah.
Punch him in the face, sure, but not stab him in the back.
Also, I love the fact that Ryuuto is not letting the fact that he's been probably-permanently crippled stop him at all.
And that even in the world of HSDK martial arts, others still go "What the hell?" at his wheelchair moves.
Suffering is a fact of life. You survive if you find a reason to endure it.
"I am Shishihime Ikiho! The legendary hero who has lived 5000 years!"
"That's right, and I am a high schooler who couldn't live alone even for a second... and is as cool as the devil himself."
Ukita, just stop. We all accepted that you are pretty much uslles and don't contribute anything to the story, it's fine, shit happens, just look at Chad.
But encouraging what's-her-face when you should know fully well that she stands no chance? You're an ass!
In other news:
I forgot how Kenichi's dad can switch between being awesome father and nervous wreck in split seconds.
Good to see Ryuuto again, and his wheelchair-fu is awesome. I hope he and Kenichi eventually make up.
I like Rimi, she's entertaining character. I hope we see more of her.
I wonder why this chapter was titled "Double Date" if that wasn't even remotely most important thing to happen.
"I checked the abandoned warehouse, only to find it abandoned..."
To be fair, what else would it be called? "Ryuuto's phonecall" doesn't really sound good.
Suffering is a fact of life. You survive if you find a reason to endure it.
Maybe not that bland, but this was very misleading title. I was thinking we get to see Kenichi and Miu on a date and wondering who the other pair will be... only it turns out it's about Ukita who I don't care about (and who made ass out of himself) and then it's dropped like a hot potato, when the actual plot rolls in.
This is just a minor complaint tho.
"I checked the abandoned warehouse, only to find it abandoned..."
I don't think Ryuuto wants to harm Kenichi, though Rimi is another matter all together, while she'd do anything for Ryuuto so she says, Kenichi is still the enemy, and just because Ryuuto wants to see Kenichi doesn't mean Rimi will ignore that fact. She could attack him before or after the meeting, though the fact that she leaked this information on the net, might have been intentional but for what gain? Informing the Shinpaku Alliance doesn't make any sense, maybe she intends to lure then Shinpaku to the location with the intent to ambush them before they arrive, as Shinpaku is a thorn in Yami's side and they did say that Kensei was trying to crush the Shinpaku alliance a while back.

Rogue and Bishop's daughter would be called Discharge, and she'd touch people and drain all or some of their bioelectrical energy out of them causing them to either die or fall unconscious. She could then use this energy to extend her own life, heal herself, enhance her physical abilities (speed, strength, stamina,) or discharge it as various energy beams.
Screw you guys, Ukita's awesome. Just watch, he's gonna get secret training from Chikage (so secret that even he doesn't realize he's getting it) and end up beating Mikumo and group marrying Kisara, Freya, and anyone else who's given or code name ends with the letter "a", up to Saiga.
Ahahah, okay, he's probably gonna stay being bottom rung, but at least we can rest assured that, in situations where the Shinpaku Alliance barely wins, Ukita's probably gonna be the "barely" that pushes them over the edge, like in their DoD match. Also, it might just be the Medaka Box fan in me, but I totally approve of him telling Yuka to confess to him. She might not have a chance but its better that she gets it out of the way so she can move on, and it might push Miu into getting more serious about attracting him as well.
I think the Double Date refers to the Ukita/Kisara/company AND to the secret Kenichi/Ryuuto meeting.
Fox Mr. Sinister (holding Rogue's chin): "So beautiful, yet so strong."
Fox Wolverine: "Well, I always did think I was kinda cute. Nice of you to mention it."
