I always liked when Apocalypse toasted champagne with them on Christmas, and that it would be the X-Men's last. That panel is hilariously campy.
But more to the point, it frustrates me to no end that someone supposedly deemed one of the strong fit to survive, like Pestilence/Plague, could be killed by being knocked off her own damned flying horse by a child. This was the first sign that maybe Apocalypse isn't the best judge of what makes a good Horseman. And certainly not the last.
Famine and War were too damned cool, though. Other than when the Hulk was set up to be War, I've never been impressed by any of the other incarnations. They just didn't fit, you know?
