Nice interview. Looking forward about what's next on Trinity second half.
Paradox: "We're comic geeks. The word "shame" lost its meaning long ago".
Blade: [noticing vampire tattoo] You're human.
Kounen: Barely. I'm a lawyer.
Patton: Now I want you to remember that no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country.
Although things were slightly touch and go in the first act (perhaps too much Konvict, but that pays off later, particularly in issue 26), this series has really gotten its hooks into me over the past two months. Next to AMAZING SPIDER MAN, it's my fave read each week.
TRINITY really carries the flame for the current DCU and I hope the next weekly measures up to it (and 52 (AMAZING); let's forget about that other weekly).
I'm horrified, horrified, that this has reached issue #26!
That means it's halfway over!!!!![]()
This has been my favorite comic this year! It's had my three favorite heroes starring in it, and even when they went missing it kept my interest! I don't want this to end. I'd be happy to get a monthly series with Bats, Wondy and Supes saving the day together.
"A wise old owl lived in an Oak,
The more he saw the less he spoke,
The less he spoke the more he heard,
Why can't we all be like that wise old bird?"
Good series so far, but issue 26 itself was a snore. One of the few times I preferred the B-story (backup) to the main thing.
- Art is whatever makes you feel human.
- "You are what you love, not what loves you." - Donald Kaufman
- "Deserve's got nothing to do with it." - William Munny
- "Acquiescence. It's not so hard, really. You. Just. Give. In." - Col. Ives
I decided to stop with issue 25 not because it's a bad series, but just because it seems to be moving at a somewhat slow pace, and I feel it will be better to read in trades. So I think I'll pick it up in that format from now on.
